But do be careful as things change often and not all flights fly every day

Rental cars are comparatively cheap in the USA (they drive on the right side of the road) and it is normal for all cars to be automatic. All the major car rental companies have offices at the airport - Avis, Budget, Alamo, Enterprise and Hertz and then you can always use Hotwire.

The hotel has free wireless internet access available in the hotel lobby and courtyard, so you can stay in touch with the rest of the world. But don't forget that the US has 110volts and different plugs for electrical appliances.

CELL PHONES: Most other countries in the world use GSM technology, and most American carriers do not. However T-Mobile is a GSM carrier, and so if you can roam you can use this network.
